St. Mary School Logo  Ways to Help St. Mary School

Please help our school by participating in the following fundraisers. There is no additional cost to participate in these fundraisers. Cut the coupons and/or labels from items you have already purchased. Write the name of the chairperson on an envelope and send them to the school office. Parishioners who do not have children at St. Mary School can put their labels in the Campbell's soup box at the back of the church. Also, shop at the stores where a percentage of your purchase will benefit St. Mary School.

Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.)

T.R.I.P. was successfully implemented at St. Mary's in 1997. It allows parents to earn credit toward their child's tuition. St. Mary HSA can purchase certificates from many national and local merchants. The certificates will be purchased at a discount and sold to families at full face value. The discount offered by each vendor is split with St. Mary HSA (25%) and the family's tuition account (75%). For example:

  • A family orders $100 of a specific certificate.
  • The vendor provides a 10% discount for the sale.
  • The family pays St. Mary school $100 and receives the certificates.
  • $7.50 is credited to the family's tuition account (75% of the 10% discount).
  • $2.50 is credited to the school's account (25% of the 10% discount).

All you have to do to participate is fill out an order form and attach a check/cash with your order. Order forms are available in the office and you can send the order with your oldest child on Monday mornings by 8:30 a.m. The certificates will be sent home with that child by Thursday of the same week or you can pick them up in the school office after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Registration forms are available for new families to fill out in the school office or by contacting Donna Rossman at 924-2170.

Some of the most popular vendors we currently buy are Jewel, Strack and Van Tils, Burger King, Wendy's, Border's, Marathon gas, Speedway, Amoco, Kohl's, JCPenny, Menards, Red Lobster and Circuit City. You can even pay off your charge card with JCPenny and Kohl's! There are many, many more available. Please check out our order form or, for a complete list, go to: http://www.glscrip.com.

This is truly a great and easy fund-raiser for the school and for your family! You can really reduce your family's (or the family of your choice) tuition by simply purchasing these gift certificates and doing the family shopping! They also make great gifts without having to go to the stores to purchase them!

Don't forget to go to the school office and check out the T.R.I.P. order forms! Start ordering on Mondays and you could be on your way to saving money on tuition and helping the school without spending anything extra!
